Proof of a signature – allegations of forgery of a marriage certificate – sale of a matrimonial house without wife’s consent.
- One of the methods of proving a signature of a person is by comparing it with other signatures (p. 11).
- Allegations of forgery of a marriage certificate – the marriage certificate for a marriage officiated in 1999 was from a book which started to be used in 2005. It was held that the certificate is still intact since there was no proof of forgery and the couple had been known as husband and wife (pp. 15 – 16).
- A matrimonial house was sold without wife’s consent. It was held that the house being a matrimonial house could not be sold without her consent (p. 16).
